• Over 1000 visitors and lots of enthusiasm for mathematical experiments-- the 17th Mathematics' Day was a big success. 220 school teams participated in the math competitions.
• Introductory Course on University Mathematics: Is mathematics the right field of study for me? This two week introductory course (25 June - 6 July 2012) should help answer this question.
• Dr. Christoph Benzmüller and Dr. Tobias Finis come to the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science as recipients of Heisenberg-Scholarships from the German Research Foundation
