Unified approach to quantum cohomology of Grassmannians
Abstract
The quantum cohomology ring of an algebraic variety encodes answers
to enumerative questions about rational curves on the variety.
We start with the case of Grassmannian varieties, where everything
can be described concretely. There are some more general homogeneous
varieties where many sorts of similar results can be obtained.
We describe a unified treatment of these results, proposed in a
recent preprint by Chaput, Manivel, and Perrin.

"Cluster algebras with three vertices and the Markov equation"
Abstract
The classical Markov equation $x^2 + y^2 + z^2 - 3 xyz = 0$ plays a role in the classification of
exceptional vector bundles on the projective plane: the solutions are the possible ranks of
exceptional vector bundles. A similar equation $x^2 + y^2 + z^2 - xyz = C$ appears in the theory
of cluster algebras. The value of $C$ characterizes cluster-acyclic triples $x,y,z$. We give a
short introduction to cluster algebras and explain why the Markov equation appears. Moreover, we
relate both problems to the corresponding derived categories.

Divisorielle
Kohomologieverschwindung
auf torischen Varietäten
Abstract
Kohomologiegruppen H^i(X, O(D)) für i > 0 verschwinden.
Kohomologieverschwindung.

Coxeter transformations, representations of algebras and singularities.
Abstract
We study Coxeter transformations of algebras as matrices induced by the Auslander-Reiten
transformation in the derived category of the module category.
The spectral behavior of these transformations provide enough information on the structure
of graded commutative algebras associated to the Auslander-Reiten transformation
(generalizations of preprojective algebras). In case the underlying field is the complex
numbers these graded algebras are rings of singularities associated to Fuchsian groups.

Die Darstellungsdimension einer Algebra
Abstract
berichten moechte. Dazu gehoert besonders ein Ergebnis von Rouquier,
das die geometrische Natur dieser Dimension beleuchtet.

Cohomology of the minimal class
Abstract
Let $G$ be a complex simple Lie group. There is a minimal
non trivial nilpotent orbit in the Lie algebra of $G$.
We compute its integral cohomology, using a spectral
sequence where a Cartan matrix appears, corresponding
to the subrootsystem generated by the long simple roots.
This should be related to the modulo $\ell$ reduction
of the Springer correspondent representation.

Indecomposable modules for canonical algebras
Abstract
In 1984 Ringel introduced the class of canonical algebras which plays an important role in representation theory. We are interested in an explicit description of indecomposable modules over a canonical algebra by vector spaces and matrices, a question which can be asked for an arbitrary algebra which is given by a quiver with relations. This problem seems to be difficult in general, whereas often one has knowledge about the dimension vectors of the indecomposable modules, little is know about the matrices.
If $A$ is a canonical algebra of domestic type in joint work with Kusin. we described all indecomposable $A$-modules.
For a tubular canonical algebra $A$, it seems to be impossible to describe the matrices of all indecomposable modules. However, we can show that each exceptional $A$-module can be exhibited by matrices involving as coefficients $0,1$ and $-1$ if $A$ is of type $(3,3,3)$, $(2,4,4)$ or $(2,3,6)$ and coefficients $0,1, -1, \lambda, -\lambda$ and $\lambda -1$ if $A$ of type $(2,2,2,2)$ and defined by a parameter $\lambda$. Moveover, the proof yields an algorithmic description of the exceptional modules over a tubular canonical algebra. Whereas the methods in the domestic situation are purely combinatoric, we use in the tubular case methods of non-commutative algebraic geometry as introduced by Geigle and Lenzing.
Finally, we discuss some problems concerning the case of exceptional modules over wild canonical algebras.
