What is … a positional game?

This page hosts information on Dennis Clemens' talk "What is … a positional game?" at the "What is …?" seminar. Abstract

Using some specific examples, we will introduce Positional Games, in particular, the class of Maker-Breaker games. Moreover, we will take a deeper look at the Erdös-Selfridge theorem from 1973 which often is seen as the starting point in the history of Maker-Breaker games.
